Authorized GlobalTranz agent

Complex freight, managed at every handoff.

Gulfhawk is an authorized GlobalTranz agent built for shipments that don’t fit a portal quote—ocean exports, bulk-liquid, intermodal, humanitarian and project cargo, and the domestic trucking that supports them. One team plans the move and stays on it through every handoff.

Principal capabilities

Four ways Gulfhawk takes on complex freight

Same approach every time: plan the whole move up front, make sure someone owns each handoff, and stay on the shipment once it stops being routine.

When Gulfhawk is a good fit

Freight that needs judgment, not just a portal rate

Sound familiar? Multiple pickup points. A destination that isn’t on the standard lane list. Cargo that doesn’t fit a normal container. Equipment or payload questions nobody’s answered yet. That’s the freight Gulfhawk is built for.

  • Multiple transportation providers or pickup points
  • Difficult or less-common destinations
  • Nonstandard loading, packing, or equipment constraints
  • Bulk liquids requiring equipment, payload, and discharge planning
  • Longer-haul intermodal evaluation
  • International documentation and provider handoffs
  • Humanitarian, nonprofit, or volunteer stakeholders
  • Cargo requiring active coordination rather than portal-only quoting

Completed humanitarian project

Nearly 200 solar panels delivered from Montana to Kharkiv

We coordinated receipt, packing, transportation, and container shipments for approximately four metric tons of donated solar equipment headed to Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute.

How Gulfhawk works

Stay ahead of the seams between providers

This isn’t another forwarded tracking update. It’s real people watching the whole shipment and stepping in the moment something changes.

  1. 01

    Plan the complete move

Review cargo, loading, inland transportation, routing, documents, timing, and delivery requirements together.

  2. 02

    Coordinate the providers

Keep shippers, warehouses, truckers, forwarding partners, terminals, consignees, and project participants aligned.

  3. 03

    Flag the risks early

Address equipment, access, cutoffs, appointments, free time, packing, and responsibility gaps before dispatch.

  4. 04

    Stay involved through delivery

Follow exceptions through the handoffs and keep every party working from the same information.

Intermodal Freight

Use rail when the complete lane supports it

For lanes long enough to benefit from rail, Gulfhawk works the whole move—linehaul, both drayage legs, terminal cutoffs, and the accessorials that usually get missed.

Intermodal isn’t automatically cheaper or better. When speed, ramp access, or extra handling work against it, truckload can still be the right call.

Ocean Export Coordination

Manage the full international move as one plan

We manage origin trucking or rail, container drayage and loading, ocean transportation, documentation, terminal handling, and final delivery through the GlobalTranz network.

Through GlobalTranz and ExFreight, we work with major ocean carriers, rail providers, and local delivery partners to coordinate moves around the world—while our small team keeps the entire move connected.

Network support

3PL access, hands-on execution

We are a GlobalTranz authorized agent. We draw on its 3PL network for domestic trucking, intermodal, ExFreight ocean capacity, and supporting logistics resources when a shipment needs them—while our small team keeps the move connected.
